Volunteers' Day - A Day of Gratitude

18th Annual Woodstock Volunteers’ Day – A Day of Gratitude. Woodstock is the only town in America that has an event like this. The event is not a recruitment activity, but rather it's like a valentine to all those kind and generous people among us who make our world a better place. The event includes musical performances, food, fun for kids (rides, clowns, jugglers, face painting, hat making) and fireworks to show appreciation to all of the area volunteers (see our website for more detailed information), and to enhance the efforts of all our community organizations. 3:00 – 9:00 PM You are welcome to be a part of this community thank you, and celebrate all of our volunteers with a day held in their honor. Public welcome. Show up for the volunteers; they always show up for us!!  www.volunteersday.org

If you are unable to attend this Volunteers' Day event, please remember the volunteers in your life, treat them to ...whatever you wish, use your imagination. Volunteers are one of the most under recognized and under appreciated groups within our society. On this day, held in their honor, don't ask them to volunteer again, just let them know how much we value all that they do for our communities. They truly make our world a better place.
