Every adult remembers the joy brought by those two words. Memories of rushing outside in your snow clothes to spend the day sliding down nearby hills or neighborhood parks come flooding back. But you don’t need to wait for a snow day to enjoy the laughter, fun and sheer joy of a day spent skidding down a snow covered hill. We have plenty of places where you can enjoy snow tubing or sledding any time you want. So, come on and play in our backyard. Your kids will be glad you did.

A new snow tubing run, magic carpet lift and improved snow making make this a great way to spend the day. One, two, or three-hour tickets or a full day pass are available. A small beginners hill for skiing or snowboarding mean with rentals and lessons available means that there is something here for everyone.
Sledding
Have your own sled, saucer or toboggan but need a place to use them? Try these places that locals know and love, but be careful, you’re do so at your own risk.
Hasbrouck Park
Delaware Ave, Kingston, boasts steep hills and magnificent views of the Hudson River.
New Paltz Middle School, Manheim Blvd & Main Street, New Paltz
Park in lot on the side of the school across from Lincoln Place or along Maiden Lane. Once inside gate, walk towards back and towards tennis courts. Hill leads down to a football field.
