Verdi's Otello

Verdi's penultimate masterpiece, Otello soars with passion and drama-from one of opera's most sensuous love duets to Iago's credo of hatred, from its portrayal of jealousy, Shakespeare's "green-eyed monster," to the final self-revelation of the man who "loved not wisely but too well." This divine music captures the most earthly of human emotions. Our production stars Limmie Pulliam (Otello), Eleni Calenos (Desdemona), Daniel Sutton ( Iago) and Aaron Blake (Cassio). Helmed by masters Beth Greenberg and Maestro David Wroe, this production will also feature well over 100 singers gleaned from the finest in the Catskills!
